Champagne vix sulked into the terr. Dial was held neutral, conserving as much energy as possible. Pistons carried slightly emaciated bodice as far as possible. Stilts two-beated steadily, observing the terrain. It was quiet and lonely...something bruja was used to.
Minutes turned into hours as vix waited patiently. What for she had no idea. But even so, she stood quietly. Strong gale tore through her tresses, but still she did not budge. A large rustling arose in the bushes next to her, and, though terrified, she stood steadfast, defying all instinct to run. Something was going to happen...she could just feel it.

Tenor moved like a shadow. It had always been his way: silence and observance. He had not lived his life through rash decisions and voicing opinions. He was clever - some even said too clever.
His delicate nostrils caught the musky scent of a female, and after a moment's pause, he set off to follow it. He moved like liquid over the ground, his dark eyes watchful. Tenor was curious.
He was inconspicuous, and made his way into the maiden meadow without any eyes taking proper register of him. He knew how to fade into the background - he was completely normal to any watching eyes.
He caught sight of the mare across the field, and expertly dandered towards her. It was not until he was within speech distance that he made the slightest noise. A low nicker in the back of his throat.
She was a vibrant colour, and though there was the sense of a leaf in the wind about her, she seemed determined to stand her ground. The liver chestnut stallion inclined his head politely before adressing her.
"My lady, I am Tenor of the Cavern of Echoes. Could I ask your name?"

Curious of the champagne stag, fae perked her auds and took a step towards him. Mahogany banner fell in front of her mask as she bowed.
It is an honor to meet you, Tenor. I am called Drift Away. She responded politely.
Optics observed the stag before her. His breeding was obviously the same as her own, and they resembled closely in color. He seemed a quiet soul.
How may I be of service to you? She asked. Often was it the first question asked by her when she was confronted with a stallion. She was not one for small talk...it was a waste of time in her eyes.

Drift Away. It sounded like a whisper in the wind. It did not have the brash, olverconfident showiness that some darks felt the need to have in their titles. He approved.
She got straight to the point, he noticed, again with approval. She seemed a femme after his own heart - get to the heart. His eyes skimmed over hier bodice, appreciating what he saw. Indeed, this mare seemed perfect for the role he wished to fill. The role of herd leader alongside him.
"I understand the sentiment, lady."
He said. It was true - Tenor did not often feel the need to speak. He couldn't deal with chatterers - he appreciated companionable silence.
"There is more than one question within that one though. You wish to know both what I want, and what I offer. This system is more like abrtering than anything else. Firstly, I wish for you to join my herd; to reside with me at the Cavern of Echoes. But what I offer is something more - I offer the position of Queen to you, lady. I offer you my land to rule alongside me. I want you to accept, but I have no control over your own wants, lady."

Champagne vix blinked, silent. Drift observed the chestnut stag quietly for a moment.
He seemed to share her personality...not much talk, yet easily making the point understood. However, he was quick to judge. Not a huge amount of bonus points on belle's scorepad.
Quietly vix thought for a moment. He may have been a little fast, but he was quiet and tender. Qualities rarily expressed in a brute.
Auds perked backwards as something rustled behind her. Grateful for the distraction...she didn't like making big decisions so quickly...femme turned her dial 'round. Small bluebird took flight from a bush behind her.
Once again conflicted with the task at hand, bruja faced the lord before her.
Fem took a step foreward, cranium royally held. Though a stort step, muscles rippled fluidly under darkened coat. It would be an honor to rule alongside you as Queen. Femmora elegantly smiled, and bodice moved in a small bow.

He saw the reluctance in her demeanor - she did not like quick decisions, he wagered. It was pretty cruel of him, to put her on the spot like that, but he couln't help it - he found it hard to drag out a coversation, when the point could be reached with ease. They both knew why they were here.
When she answered him, the righteous pride shining through in the way she held her head, he couldn't help a slight smile flickering over his lips. She would make an excellent ruler, he could tell.
He gave a short bow, respect in his gaze.
"My lady, I am honored. If you would wish to come with me?"
He asked her, knowing that this was probably rushing her a little. But he couldn't help wanting to show her his homw: the Cavern of Echoes.
[sorry I took so long to post back.... I've been overloaded with work and coursework.... but I'm back!]

(quite alright. I, too, have been busy. i have a babysitting job now, plus bible school, so i haven't been on much, lol. but bible school ended yesterday, and i don't have to babysit until monday, so, yay! lol)
Vixen sensed the excitement, and, something else edge his lyrics. What was that other tone? Guilt, possibly? But what could he be feeling guilty for?
Belle smiled softly, shrugging the question off. She would find out soon enough, she supposed. I would love to go with you.
She couldn't wait to see his terr. For a stallion such as himself, he had to have a beautiful territory. A soft gale twirled around the pair. Banner lapped at Drift's nape. The breeze felt good, and lifted her spirits even more.
Lead the way, milord. She adressed. Pistons took a few steps, bodice drifting towards him. Fem drew beside and slightly behind him, dial motioning that she was ready to go.
