. B R A V E H E A R T |:. .For Freerose. The lone steed began his long journey ascending the rocky slope. Perhaps his mother or father would be up here. Where else could they be? So many questions went through his mind about his family and his new friend, Phantom. Are his parents still together? Are they seperated? Are that loners? Are they dead? There were so much more as he grew tired and weary from the long climb. About half way he pulled over to rest. Standing under the only tree that seemed to be around, it began to rain and his orbs gazed the landscape for any others. There were none. He looked back down the mountain, debating to himself if he should just give up, or keep looking and find nothing.

Fog slippered from thin papers, diamonds flickered upon foliage while the sound was low. Dome didn't held the great royalty, it hung low exhausted after everything. The journy away had taken most of his powers, but now Cherry Creek's wind gatheres around welcoming. Every unfamiliar scent entered plyafully, while he inhaled them deeply. Raven jems opened while dome arose from it's position. A snow hued bronc halted upon the rising, zeniths flickering searching for one 'quin. Thin papers inhaled and exhaled taking in the different scents, jems moved before halting when he reached it. In the evening sun a young steed stood alone. Rain is falling yet again? Life hasn't changed since she left. Mind flinched upon a young maiden of chestnut power while she cantered by his side, her white star shone while darkened gems held a special sparkel for him. Heart started pacing just by thinking of her, a tear was shed unnoticed seeing how his son looked so alike his mother. Labios of silken silver moved releasing a soft call of a symphony to the youngster, he wouln't know how to tell Braveheart his mother was gone, but he knew the time wasn't right here. Diamonds moved into graceful trott, while a warm breeze flowed past him. Autumn is soon to come, this will be the end of all passion and the beginning of foaling. Sigh escaped knowing he had yet to find maidens to his home, life was getting harder and harder to handle, soon there will be a lot more to think of, his brother is of all coming soon.
Dome arose hiding every silent of sadness while he entered form the shadows. Silky tresses moved with the help of fainting wind, purity would never fade from his shine, yet heart was stained by a broken love. An eternity wouldn't last these two hearts, yet they were connected into one. A fatherly warmth filled his heart just by seeing his son standing there. Halt was made easily not far away from the grazing youngster, labios moved calmly while zeniths flickered. Why are you alone young Braveheart?
The deep tone tainted his symphony while he waited for the answer, life was easy now and then, yet right now it was better to leave it alone. He knew not many would feel this pain, but he never wanted to see his brother take a hairstraw from his sons barrel.[/blockquote]

. B R A V E H E A R T |:. Harks flickered forward and dial spun at the scent of the one and only friend he had made since he'd been here at Cherry's Creek. Phantom stood there like a ghost. Braveheart gave him a sweet yet pitiful smile. He could already tell that Phantom was one he could trust. He was a steed of great honesty and trust. Already, he could tell that he would always be there for him. Weight shifted but didn't move from his resting place. Yet gaze turned back up the mountainside. Why was life so hard and difficult like his? If only he could find his father or mother, or even better, both. But he hadn't even gotten close. The young brute began his descend down the hillside, trying his best to hold back a few tears. The rain would hide them though. But of course, anyone could sense that the young leader was heartbroken and had completely given up hope. Friend Phantom, I've lost all hope in finding my family. I suppose I shall be a loner the rest of my days. No need to feel sorry for me, it's not your fault that I am who I am.
His tone was quiet and sad, but at the same time hopeful that some way, somehow, Phantom would comfort him.[/blockquote]

Gaze snapped away, zeniths flickered backwards in a sad way not harsh. If only you knew my son. Mind twisted while the king looked upon the yonder. Diamond stomped while dome tossed. If only this law hadn't been to hard, then he would have told Braveheart everything. He had already lost his parents as well as first love, but did this mean his punishment should pass over to Braveheart? Tresses was yet moved in front of darkened jems, life had taken it's scar upon him, yet more punishment was more then he could carry. Ribbons flickered back and forth while mind twisted upon what to answer. Sigh was released by silky labrums until they parted. The symphony held the same royalty, yet there were some mystery with them as well. You shall not give up young Braveheart, at least not on one of them. But you need to search in your heart to find out whom you really is. You look more alike some then you realize little one.
Slight fog was released from his thin papers, autumn was set, but winter wasn't far away either. Dome moved silently eying every movement he made. I've lost more then I can handle, that is more then you have Braveheart. You can think what you want about your parents, but have you ever thought that there was a reason why they put you in another herd? Zeniths flickered swiftly to the side listening to the breath he took. Diamonds felt the pressure of maidens and stallions, it was too soon for foals yet he knew that much. Tassels hung heavily upon his arche, no wind was playing around him anymore. Life was going downwards, but Phantom knew one thing. A king or prince shall not show his true feelings to others, only his true love, no one else. His father had told him about this, and that had been too much for him right now.[/blockquote]

. B R A V E H E A R T |:. Young leader gazed at the ruler before him. What was he saying? It seemed he had lost more than himself by what his emotions and feelings showed. A sudden burst of bravery lifted in his spirit and harks perched atop his dial at the lord. Yet tone was still sad and sorrowful. Phantom, I am thankful you are a friend. To me, there is no reason they let me go. If there was, wouldn't they tell me?
In response to his question. But he told himself to be brave, like his name, and not act sorrowful and lose hope. He could thank Phantom for that. .oOc: Sorry, short. I've been on vacation.[/blockquote]

Zeniths flickered listening to the words of his son. Jems of raven was yet to be hidden, his emotions where never shown he knew that much. Physique moved lightly in the evening warmth, the hot air was still breathing while cold movements where winning. Not many tell their children the reason little one. Life has it laws, and one of them is for the rulers. My father couldn't leave me alone, he didn't want the wicked to get me, but they told my twin about me. It was a mistake on both sides, revealing something for your son or daughter can't always be right. Some is actually a prince or princess in the land, but he or she doesn't know it. This is the path that we are walking on young Braveheart even if we don't like it.
This was the easiest explanation he could give without saying the whole truth. Honesty was what he lived for, but now he needed to stay around his son. His brother already knew about his son. The wicked was all around and everywhere now. Dome tossed but tresses where still hiding his jems, time was searching his lifeline without permission. How would everything end? Would it be alright? Or would life hold it's grudge against him forever?[/blockquote]

. B R A V E H E A R T |:. The young leader listened closely to the lord's advice. Once more, questions seemed to be endless in his mind. What did he mean by prince or princess? Never before did he speak of it and Phantom seemed to be keeping a secret. Something that he is trying to hide from him. A curious foal personality began to creep out. He stepped an inch forward towards the mighty leader. A curious eye was shown towards him as every time the lord spoke, another clue would come out of this funky riddle. Sir Phantom, whom do you speak of by 'prince' or 'princess'?
The question revealed most of his curious questions together. Weight shifted forward again as he was pointed straight down the hill. The rain seemed to let up a bit but dribbles of wet, liquid droplets continued wetening his darkened pelt. He awaited the lord's response, eager to find out another clue.[/blockquote]

Zeniths flickered towards his on. I can't tell you the whole truth son. Mind made it's move talking inside. Banner flickered while jems remained the same tone. It got harder of course it did, not teling your son his a prince and his moter is dead? Who could've known it would get this hard? But he knew Braveheart had been reckless, the other herd didn't even know he was gone. He has the same reckless side from me, yet the big heart of his mother. Slight smile crept upon lips before fading. Unnnoticed sigh was released from his lips, they didn't move this time, but his tone was still the same masculine one. You are a curious one you Braveheart, but you need to find things out yourself. I can't say much more personal, it is written on the holy cherry tree. But you shouldn't worry, your curiousity can break through someone one day, but not me.
Jems looked down at the young stallion. He knew how others hated not knowing that much, but this was all he was allowed to do for his son. Dome raised as so many times before looking up at the yonder. Wind crossed his path gving the whisper off sorrow when it touched him. Heart was slowing it's beat and starting to ache, he had lost her a year ago, and now he had found the one thing he didn't, his son. OoC: This reminds me of Bambi..[/blockquote]

O.o.C: lol... ya it does!!!
. B R A V E H E A R T |:. The young lad listened to the mightier steed carefully and a slight chuckled was made. Of course Phantom wouldn't tell him. Braveheart didn't seem serious about this, he found it like a game. A riddle that Braveheart must find out himself. It was good for him. It made him realize he can't only rely on those who are older and know more. The rain shower completely died down now and Braveheart looked back up the mountain. His gaze stayed there for a while before he turned back around and looked eye to eye with Phantom. Please excuse me Phantom, I must continue my search for my parents, and find out this little riddle that you have. Another chuckle was made. It sounded kinda like a colt playing with someone he barely knew. And at that, he spun around and continued his ascend up the hill while the day was still young. He nickered at the leader behind him, thanking him for all he had done. He picked up a trot up the hill with a smile, looking side to side for any other 'quine.[/blockquote]

Zeniths flickered letting liquid dropp to the ground heavily. Slight nod was the only movement he stayed still. Tears was about to flow but tresses entered before jems of raven hiding the sorrowed look. It was hurting him to see his son don't even try to recognise his father. Heavy sigh slippered seeing him trott away. Talons moved turning letting dome lower. Right now not many would think it was the king, he layed down in the silence, every dropp of liquid felt like his tear. Life wasn't showing it good side to him anymore. Everything had gone wrong, and everything ahd started getting complicated. Whom could help the fading king? Whom should catch his heart again, and make his life on the sunny side? Not one had tried, and not one would as it seemed no one cared anymore. The new Dark King would soon arive, the time was ending for both him and Braveheart. There where only one whom could save them, it was a mare that had still to know she wasn't alone.

Barabell looked up at the huge mountain. She didn't have a herd to go to, and she didn't have anywhere else to go. She was weak from nearly dieing, but her heart and soul had been sparred. She knew that a herd wasn't just a place where you lived, but it was a place that you were understood. This mountain seemed to be the only thing that could understand her. The rain had been slowly her down a little, but since it was starting go to a light drizzle, she was able to move at a faster pace. She was nearly to the middle of the mountain, but she still had a long ways to travel to get to the top. She had no other place to go, and this was the only place that really seemed to be 'home' to her. Barabell stopped for a moment to look at the sky. The rain fell on her face and travled down her patched neck. Oh, how she wished she could see her mother again. Just once to say goodbye. Barabell had not thought of her mother in a long time, but she knew that her mother would always be with her, even if she wasn't here in flesh and blood. A slight smile came to her maw and she closed her eyes and shook her head. She would have wanted the best for Barabell. Barabell opened her eyes and continued on. She looked around and noticed a figure up ahead. Whoever it was, they had a stone black pelt. She walked closer to it, curious to see whom it was. She was startled when she thought it was her rescuer. Was it really? Could it be? She took a few steps back and looked again. Yes, it was him. It was Phantom! Barabell walked over to him, he looked sad, but she didn't know why.
|| Fancy meeting you again. ||
She said softly to him. She smiled to him wondering what could be troubleing the King. She didn't think that he ever could be troubled, but knew that everyone had their problems that could hit harder at times. She continued to stand, wondering if he would reconize who she was.

A zeniths moved in slow motion towards the sound of a familiar fem. Unnoticed gulp was made and jems hid every sad emotion. Diamonds moved underneath raising the king with ease. Tresses were still hidding his raven jems, he didn't know how pathetic and sorrowed he looked like. Mane and banner were soaked and hung heavy upon his sides, the muscular bod of silk was shown in pale manners, everything was kept hidden yet again. Slowly the dome of kingdom was lifted in it's high position yet again. Tossing it as well as shaking his own physique tresses moved swiftly away from jems of coal. He looked softly at Barabell but didn't move his dom to a lower spot. Yes it is fancy maiden Barabell. Bones of breakable mostiure moved his carcass, diamonds stretched lightly but he looked upon the maiden yet again with soft and calm motions. And why do I get the pleasure of meeting you yet again maiden Barabell? You are not in trouble I hope. Jems didn't spill any sort of sadness or sorrow as he stood silently gazing at her calmly.

Barabell took a few steps back so the King would have more room when he stood. The light rain continued to fall at a steady pace. The wind blew slightly like it always did when storms rolled in. Skin moved as if it were making a fly move, but there was no fly, only rain. The maiden smiled as the King spoke. At least this time she wasn't in any trouble, which was a good thing. The King had his own problems to worry about, much less her problems. Her maw parted before speaking:
|| Not this time m'Lord. Just making my way to the top I suppose, there is no where else to go. ||
A smiled stayed plasted on her maw. She wondered what he was doing here, but thought that it would be rude for her to ask him. He held power, he derserved more respect than others, and she was willing to give him all the respect that he deserved. It wasn't just because he was a King, but all horses deserved respect, even if they were a slave. It was something that Barabell wouldn't take lightly, she hated seeing horses that had no power be not given respect. The were still alive, still had flesh and blood and they were still a horse. She thought that every horse was to have respect.

He listened to her words and was glad she wasn't in trouble. Gaze went towards te mountain not seeing his son. Walking forward the king turned letting his physiqu brush against hers. He needed to get her safe for the night, hopefully Braveheart had gone to a place where it was warmth and shelter from this incoming storm. Care for a walk to one of the few caves? It is warmer there then here at least.
The easy symphony rolled out from his toung. It was easily known that this steed was special, but also had something darker then most. Banner laid still as well as tassels. The wind couldn't cheer him fully up, but his face and jems seemed to be soft and gentle as usual. Life held it's mark against his lifethread. It would soon break and let his life fall apart.[/blockquote]

His words echoed through her mind. Why was he still offering her support? He had done so much already, and he still wanted to give her more? She didn't know what to think. Should she go with him, or should she just carry on herself? She didn't know what to do. She did yearn to go with him, but at the same time she didn't want to be a burden to him. Her maw parted again as she spoke her words:
|| m'Lord, you've done so much for me, I do not want to be a burden for you. You've done so much for me already...||
Her words were still soft spoken. She still wanted to go with him, who wouldn't? But he still had done alot for her.

Lips didn't move yet the fading touch was held. Jems of darkness where warm and soft as ribbons flickered touching the maiden with ease. Don't worry about that, helping maidens and myself is a pleasure and honour. You wouldn't be a burden to me I promise.
Every word was rolled out of the long toung. He didn't want the maiden to think she was a nuisance, that wasn't good at all. Flesh of blood was hid underneath the clean silk coat. Zeniths flickered lazily while he thought of a way to come easy into the cave. It wouldn't be good to catch a cold, especially seeing she had already been soaked and towards deaht one time before. Thin papers caught every scent while hooves caught every movement, zentihs where flickering in slow movements getting the easy way of hearing others. The king wasn't on guard, he was like this, but time was running out for him and his son. Braveheart would need to learn these things before he could run around again. And soon his three year old birthday would break everything apart.[/blockquote]

Barabell stopped for a moment to make sure that he was sure. When he said that she wouldn't be a burden, she decided that if he was postive that she wasn't a burden she would go, and she did. She followed to where Phantom was going. While she followed she was happily looking at the trees, and the mountain itself. It was a huge mountain and you could see anything that you wanted to see. Birds sang high up in the trees as they were getting wet from the light rain that was still continueing to fall from the sky. Her orbs made there way up to the sky again and she saw cardinals flying above Phantom, and Barabells head. It made her happy to see them again.

Flickering zenithz keeped up the distraction. Something was in teh air, something smugly. A sudden twitch made the king halt. Dome lifted to yonder. Small dropplets of snow landed upon his nape. Snow was entering Cherry's Creek. Dome turned looking at Barabelle. We should hurry Lady Barabelle. The snow will fall heavy like this for two more dayes.
Nape touched the maidens arche softly. Diamonds floated into a trott yet he slowed his speed knowing he would easily vanish within the snow. Dome turned making sure the damsel was not far behind. They needed to get warmer, if not they would freeze out here. Banner flickered while dome tossed lightly. Shedding snow dropplets fell upon silk physique. He still waited upon the painted damsel. Snow falled lightly before it started to go heavy. The snow bronc started to shiver, he knew soon enough he would vanish with the snow. Lips parted ringing out a call in hope to help the maiden. She needed to stay close, if not they would loose each other in the incoming storm.[/blockquote]

Barabell nodded and followed him quickly to the caves. The snow landed on her pelt, and fell off as she walked. It felt very cold to the touch of it. She wished that it would be spring again, and not near winter. She looked to the skies, they looked promiseing with more snow to come in the lands. They would all soon be covered with white, and even the darks would look light. She left a sigh escape her maw, and a cloud of white smoke left her maw. She shook her coat, so that the snow wouldn't let her be wet and cold.

Gaze snapped to the maiden, the king moved closer letting bodyheat flow into her. Giving a soft nicker a cave entrance was appearing. Walking in it the king shook his massive coat. Snow droppeddown and he shivered slightly. Are you cold Miss Barabell?
He spoke with a concerned frown upon his diamond. Blades moved and he walked to her side, he already knew she could feel uncomforted about this, he just hoped she would tell him to walk away. An honourful steed yes, but he didn't want her to freeze to death either. Zeniths flickered with caution, there where no other animals here, or so it seemed that way at least. Snow steed turned his dome looking at the painted miss. What was her answer? Lips didn't show any smile, yet jems where warm and comforting. Every maiden of purity and unchosen knew he was there for them. He just didn't want them to think they where a burden. This poor fem thought this, and it wasn't a good thing now was it? Dome shook letting tresses fly into mid air, zeniths flickered towards the maiden waiting for her answer.[/blockquote]

[size=0 Painted coat shook once again when they were in the cave. Snow flew off her coat and smashed against the sides of the cave. It slowly dropped down to the ground, and quickyl melted. She felt the body heat from Phantom's body, but she really was ok. At least she thought so, besides she had a thick winter coat, and she wasn't cold. I'm fine m'lord. I have a thick coat for the harsh winters, I don't think I will be cold at all this winter. She said playfully to him. She grinned at him. She never had a stallion that cared so much about her well being and health. She also wasn't used to this much attenison, so it was odd having him lurk and watch out for her every step she took. She felt safe around him though, so even if she was careless for a moment, her 'protector' so to call him, would be looking out for her. It was like having a second soul look out for one, which was funny too her. She moved away from the middle of the cave and took at the entrance of the cave. A sigh left her, and another cloud of smoke came from her maw. She looked to the sky, whiched seemed to be getting heavier and heavier with snow each passing moment. She looked back to Phantom, and nooded for him to come and join her at the entrance.

Zeniths moved towards the maiden, tresses flew to the side while dome moved seeing Barabell move towards the entrance. Fog slippered thin papers while the ghost steed stood calmly watching her. Soft touches where upon raven jems, the king knew much of how to protect others, but love was yet to ne known again. Frozen heart never melted, no one had tried yet. Jems followed her nicker and soon monument turned with ease, the cave flickered listening to the soft sound of hooves touching the ground. Silver snow was easily by the damsels side, his coat of winter didn't make anything change at all. Lips moved letting powerful tunes escape. I'm glad you are not cold Lady Barabell, but this winter will not be like the others you have experianced here.

Barabell turned to him wondering what he meant. Auds pricked forward then laid back down. Banner held no movement. And why is that m'lord. Because of the war that is comming? She looked at him while she said her first sentence, but then turned away when she said her second. Maybe it was because of the war, maybe it wasn't. She didn't know what he meant, but she would find out one way or another. Barabell looked at the tress as stood at the entrance of the cave. The hardly blew in the light wind that passed. She waited for Phantom's reply.

Ribbons flickered calmly until sigh escaped by hyer question. He knew he had done it this time, Barabell seemed to be one of those who would find out anyway. Zeniths flickered backwards trying to find out if Braveheart was there already. Nothing was felt or heard and he gave in. The steed looked at the damsel yet again. His tone was still the same as he spoke calmly to her, I need to be honest to you Barabell. The war will break out after the harsh winter. My son will fill three by then, the legend is told that when the light kings son fills the world with his age of three. The great war of darkness and light will swollow the world. He doesn't know that his my son, the law forbid me to tell him. It hurts me that he doesn't recognise me. But what could someone know? He has never seen me, just his mother three times. We needed to get him a place far away from here, but he came back to find his parents. It isn't easy Lady Barabell, I just hope he will find out soon enough for me to protect him more.
Gaze dropped and a tear was about to get shed, but he gathered himself to stand up again. No emotions of sadness was shown, he stood proud yet again waiting on the damsel to answer.[/blockquote]

. B R A V E H E A R T |:. Meanwhile, the young prince had began his descend down the rocky slope. He couldn't help but search for his friend Phantom during his descend. What he didn't know was what Phantom wasn't telling him. A small glimpse of the two was spotted and curiosity seemed to spurdge out of the young colt's mind. He picked up a quiet trot and stayed undercover, hiding himself from the others. He dug himself in a batch of pine needles to cover his scent. He didn't know why he was hiding exactly, just instincts I guess. This was when the sense of hearing became useful. He listened closely to the couple's conversation. What was Phantom talking about? Did he have another son whom was as well looking for his parents as Braveheart was? Or... Eyes widened as he had realized that his father was under his nose the whole entire time. Phantom was his father!!! He felt like running away with anger, but was interested in what the mare would say back to him. There might be more to the riddle.
